About this role
Samudera Tanker Sdn Bhd is looking for 2 Chief Engineer(s) for a Tanker vessel operating out of Port Klang. You will report to the Chief Engineer and work on a 28 days on / 28 days off rotation.
Responsibilities
- Perform watchkeeping and daily operations in line with the company SMS and STCW requirements.
- Maintain complete records, safety checklists and reports.
- Participate in emergency drills, audits and PSC inspections.
- Mentor junior crew and cadets on board.
Requirements
- Valid CoC Class 1 (Engine)
- Valid JLM medical certificate and seaman card
- At least 12 months of experience in the same or lower rank
- Malaysian citizen
