1. Acceptance of terms
By accessing or using MarineCareerHub (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to register as a seafarer. Employer accounts must represent a legally registered Malaysian maritime business with a valid SSM number.
3. Accounts & verification
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. We may verify employer accounts against SSM and Jabatan Laut Malaysia records. Accounts failing verification may be suspended without notice.
4. Content & conduct
You retain ownership of content you post (certificates, job listings, applications), and grant us a non-exclusive licence to display it as part of the Service. You agree not to post misleading, fraudulent or discriminatory content.
5. Fees
Seafarer accounts are free. Employer accounts receive 3 free job posts, after which standard fees apply as published on the Service.
6. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is." We do not guarantee that any seafarer will be hired or that any employer will fill a vacancy through the platform.
7. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Kuala Lumpur.
